The term ‘Beauty Lab by Gouda Augusta’ or ‘Beauty Lab’ or ‘us’ or ‘we’ refers to the owner of the website. The term ‘you’ refers to the user or viewer of our website.

Use of information

The content of the pages of this website is for your general information and use only. It is subject to change without notice.Neither we nor any third parties provide any warranty or guarantee as to the accuracy, timeliness, performance, completeness or suitability of the information and materials found or offered on this website for any particular purpose. You acknowledge that such information and materials may contain inaccuracies or errors and we expressly exclude liability for any such inaccuracies or errors to the fullest extent permitted by law.

Your use of any information or materials on this website is entirely at your own risk, for which Beauty Lab shall not be liable. It shall be your own responsibility to ensure that any products, services or information available through this website meet your specific requirements. Colours of products may vary greatly due to differences in camera/monitor settings; product packaging may also be different to that shown.

Product availability

You must have registered and be logged in on our website to submit a review. We thank you for sharing your views with us and other customers. All reviews will be checked before they are posted to the site so please follow our guidelines.

Reviews:

  • Must be relevant to the product in question and not be related to your experience in buying or having the item delivered.
  • Must not contain derogatory comments directed towards other reviewers.
  • Must not contain content that might be considered unlawful, harassing, libellous, abusive, sexually gratuitous, threatening, harmful, vulgar, obscene, or otherwise objectionable material.
  • Must not make false statements, defame or impersonate others.
  • Must not contain spamming, advertising, HTML or computer script.
  • Must not contain personal information about anyone – including you – such as phone numbers, postal addresses or credit card numbers.
  • Must not be submitted by suppliers or manufacturers.
Pricing

We reserve the right to correct any pricing errors on the site at any time. All purchases are subject to availability and Beauty Lab reserves the right to refuse to supply to any individual or company for whatever reason. All prices are quoted in Euro unless stated otherwise and are inclusive of VAT but not delivery.

Special offers

Special offers are subject to availability (while stocks last) and may change without notice. When a free or discounted product is issued as part of a special offer, this must be returned or full selling price paid if the qualifying product is returned as unwanted.

Cancellation and amendment of orders

We’re sorry that in most circumstances it’s not possible to make changes to your order once you’ve placed it. If your order has already been dispatched from our stock or stockist, then you’ll need to return any unwanted items following our returns procedure which you can find further below on this page.

If your order hasn’t yet been processed by Beauty Lab, we may be able to change delivery address details, remove items from your order or cancel it completely. Cancellation and amendment of orders cannot be done outside business working hours.

Cancellation of Treatments

24 HOUR CANCELLATION POLICY FOR APPOINTMENTS. Your appointments are very important to Beauty Lab. Your appointment is reserved especially for you and, while we understand that sometimes plans can change, we respectfully request at least 24 hours’ notice for cancellations. Cancellations inside 24 hours will incur a 50% charge of the planned appointment.

Payment

Payment in full is required to be made by any of the following credit/debit cards: Visa (including Electron), MasterCard, Revolut,Google Pay through this website prior to dispatch of goods. You can also pay by bank transfer, please contact us prior to placing your order to arrange payment by this method. Payment in full (cleared funds) required before any goods are dispatched. Bank Transfer payment charges (if applicable) must be paid by sender of funds. Please allow ample time for large quantities of items to be delivered.

Delivery

We aim to dispatch orders within 1 – 2 working days however this can vary due to stock availability. Delivery times to European destinations are usually between 3 – 8 working days. Delivery times are quoted in good faith and we cannot accept liability for any expenses or other costs incurred due to failed or late deliveries. Delivery of overseas orders may be affected due to political conflicts, such as war, civil unrest, martial law etc. If you selected registered post for delivery it is our couriers policy to leave goods with a neighbour if you’re not in. Please enter ‘do not leave with neighbour’ into the delivery instructions when placing your order if you’d prefer the courier didn’t do this. Delivery times may very from standard business hours. Our couriers deliver up to 7pm, but may go beyond this during time busy periods. We do not offer delivery to P.O Box addresses.

Delivery

Free Delivery in Ireland applies to orders placed online totalling €150 or more.

Next day delivery service (currently unavailable)

Orders placed online before 4pm will be eligible for next day delivery, this applies to orders placed Monday to Thursday on working days only. Orders placed before 4pm on Friday will usually be delivered on the Monday. This service is subject to stock availability and does not apply to special order items. Where the next working day is a bank holiday, goods will be out for delivery on the following working day.

Delivery notification service (including 1-hour delivery time slot, currently unavailable)

In order to keep you up-to-date and to deliver your goods at the most convenient time for you, we’ll pass your email address and mobile number (where provided) on to our courier company so they can email you throughout the various stages of delivery and/or text you when a delivery is due to be made. These messages will also include a 1-hour time slot where delivery is estimated to take place and will give you the opportunity to delay your delivery for between 1 – 3 working days if more convenient for you. Please note that this service is only available for goods dispatched by us through our courier company (currently DPD) to Irish addresses. A similar service is available to selected European countries through DPD, please see details below.

Damaged, incorrectly delivered or missing goods

We take great care to ensure all goods you receive are correct and undamaged. However, in rare cases where incorrect/damaged goods are received or goods listed on the delivery note are missing please inform us within 48 hours of delivery by email. We are not liable for any loss of earnings or other costs incurred due to damaged or incorrect products received, or items missing from deliveries.

We will begin an investigation immediately and contact you with the next steps. You will be reimbursed the cost of delivery if required to send anything back to us, but please note photos will be requested for damaged items.

Product restrictions

Please note, we cannot sell Nimue Skin Technology products via our Website. Due to the active ingredients in Nimue products you must first complete a quick Online Skincare Consulation, in person or by phone in order to purchase. Click here for more information.

Customs

When purchasing goods for delivery outside Ireland you may be subject to import duties and taxes which are levied once the goods reach the specified destination. You are also liable for any additional customs clearance charges, we have no control over these charges and cannot predict what they may be. If you are ordering goods for delivery outside Ireland it is your responsibility to comply with all laws and regulations of the countries the goods will travel through and where delivery is to be made.

Your online account

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and password and for restricting access to your computer to prevent unauthorised access to your account. You agree to accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account. If you believe that your password has become known to anyone else, you must inform us immediately.

Ownership of goods

Beauty Lab will retain ownership of the goods you order until we receive full payment for the order including any applicable delivery charges. Once the goods have been delivered to you they will be held at your own risk and we will not be liable for their loss or destruction.

Returns

Unwanted goods & Non Refund Policy

In accordance with the Distance Selling legislation, we will accept goods returned within 28 days from date of delivery, all we ask is they are returned unused, unopened, in perfect condition and in their original packaging. Goods returned to us that do not meet these requirements will be sent back to you at your cost (normally our standard delivery charge). Therefore, please inform us of your intention to return goods prior to dispatch in an unused, new condition with the original packaging & accompanied with the original invoice. Please note, it is the customer’s responsibility to ensure the goods are returned safely to us and the customer must pay postage costs back to us. Please ensure to use sturdy packaging when returning any item and include your order number with the returned goods. Please do not send us returns without first getting an email authorisation from Beauty Lab .

In order for us to receive Products back undamaged we recommend that you return them in the original packaging. 

 

We reserve the right to withhold a refund where inadequate packaging has been used.

Faulty or incorrectly delivered goods

We take great care to ensure all goods you receive are correct and undamaged. However, in rare cases where incorrect or damaged goods are received please inform us within 48 hours of delivery. Please see our contact details page for ways to get in touch. We’ll arrange collection of the goods (at our cost) and send out replacements as soon as possible. If it is more convenient for you to send the goods back to us, let us know so arrangements can be made for delivery and we’ll reimburse you the cost of this. For items returned due to a fault that has developed within the manufacturers expiry period, a repair, exchange or refund (including the original delivery charge where applicable) will be offered once the fault has been confirmed. In cases where the fault (or cause of the fault) is not apparent we reserve the right to send the item for testing. This will usually be carried out by the manufacturer and their response will be required before any actions can be taken. We will notify you of the outcome and options available. If a manufacturing fault is not found the item will be sent back to you at your cost (normally our standard delivery charge).

Returns Information

Please inform us of your intention to return goods by email. (returns cannot be processed without prior authorisation).

Your order reference number will need to be clearly marked on the paperwork you send back with the goods, so that we can process your return efficiently. We strongly recommend you use some form of recorded delivery and that goods are securely packaged and insured as we cannot accept any responsibility for lost or damaged goods.If you’re unable to send goods back to us you can request that we arrange a collection (at our discretion) however the cost of this may be deducted from any refund due. Collections usually cost €15+VAT but please note you may need to pay more depending on your location and in advance.

Unwanted goods

Returning goods bought online is not a problem, all we ask is they’re returned within 28 days of delivery, unused, unopened, in perfect condition and in their original packaging. Goods returned to us that do not meet these requirements will be sent back to you at your cost (normally our standard delivery charge). The original delivery charge cannot be refunded.

Please note returns can take between 7-14 days to be processed and a refund issued.

Reproduction is prohibited without express permission. All trademarks reproduced on this website which are not the property of, or licensed to, the operator are acknowledged on the website. Unauthorised use of this website may give rise to a claim for damages and/or be a criminal offence. From time to time this website may also include links to other websites. These links are provided for your convenience to provide further information. They do not signify that we endorse the website(s). We have no responsibility for the content of the linked website(s).

Free Parking

Free Parking is provided to the rear of the building to all Beauty Lab clients while attending Beauty Lab for Treatments/Purchases. Clients vehicles are parked at their own risk.

Force majeure

Beauty Lab shall be entitled to cancel or delay delivery of orders if it is delayed, hindered or prevented from delivery through circumstances beyond its control. Such circumstances shall include (but are not limited to) industrial action, accident, fire, act of god or failure to deliver by suppliers or couriers.
